Beurre de Baratte Demi-Sel - Unsalted Butter from France by Rodolphe Le Meunier
8.8 oz
Beurre de Baratte Demi-Sel is a prized butter from the Loire Valley made by famed cheesemaker (and butter!) Rodolphe Le Meunier. Le Meunier handcrafts his butter from carefully selected milk sourced directly from local French farms.
The milk is pasteurized no more than 48 hours from harvest to pot and then ferments for another 24 hours before churning. Rodolphe uses a wooden butter churn according to the traditional method and then moldens by hand. The result is vibrant, fresh, yellow butter with nutty and tangy flavor. This tastes like no other unsalted butter!
