Foxy Roxy's Baia Organic Whole Spelt Pasta Salad
Author: Foxy's Rockin RecipesOne pound of Baia Organic Whole Spelt Pasta cooked to package directions and then
rinse and drain with VERY cold water. Set aside to continue to chill on it's own.
In a bowl large enough to accommodate the pasta at a later time, gather,the following vegetables and spices.
While chopping the veggies and the pasta is boiling, cook one package of Wagu bacon in the microwave
until crisp. Microwaves all vary in wattage, so follow the instructions per your microwave ( most microwaves
have a bacon setting )
Chop all the following vegetables into your personal size preference and place in the large bowl you have chosen:
1 Stalk of Celery
2 Carrots
1 Large Apple of your choice ( I enjoy a Gala Apple in this particular recipe )
1/2 Red Onion
1 Green, Yellow or Red Pepper
12 Fresh Mushrooms
3 Tblsp. Fresh Garlic
Salt of your preference to taste
Pepper of your preference to taste
1 container of Cherry or Grape Tomatoes halved
Toss all of the above ingredients well in your large bowl.
Next,once bacon has cooled, break into pieces and toss with your veggies, then add in the pasta
and again, toss well.
Last, but certainly, not last, you dictate the final ingredient by now tossing with your favorite dressing.
Place in the refrigerator for at least one hour before serving, and as always, Crave, Taste and ENJOY !!!
