Macarrones di Ungia pasta is great for all pasta dishes with plain tomato sauce or hearty meat sauces! It is a very old style pasta and made with semolina flour. Hey are hand made and hand rolled. All our pasta is made to order with only the finest fresh ingredients. Our Macarrones di Ungia are dried before shipping. The reason we dry our pasta is so it can be cooked al dente, which leaves a nice firm "bite" to the pasta! Fresh pasta that is not dried can not deliver a true al dente texture.
