Ingredients Serves 6
| 4 jalapeno pepper, stemmed |
| 4 clove garlic, peeled |
| 1 1⁄2 tsp cracked black pepper |
| 1 tbsp coarse salt |
| 1⁄4 cup lime juice |
| 1 tbsp dried oregano |
| 1 1⁄2 lb top sirloin steak |
Directions
- Add jalapenos, garlic, pepper, salt, lime juice, and oregano to a blender and process until smooth.
- Place steak in a shallow pan or large resealable plastic bag. Pour marinade over the steak and turn to coat. Cover the pan or seal the bag. Marinate in the refrigerator for 8 hours or overnight.
- Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat and lightly oil the grate.
- Drain and discard marinade. Grill the steak for 5 minutes per side or to desired doneness.
